We have used Gorsegner a few times over the last 30 years of owning our home for floor refinishing. We needed a railing installed in our kitchen and also wanted the kitchen floors redone. The customer support and communication from the home office was great, thank you ladies, we liked being able to go to their showroom to actually see the products rather than looking through a catalog, which was a major selling point in our decision. Travis was very helpful in designing the railing and patient, since we changed our mind several times, once we started to understand the pros and cons of various options. We would use them again, project was actually 1 week ahead of time. The both railing and installation crew were knowledgable and professional. Great coordination and accurate timeline. We had Gorsegner Brothers come to our home to provide an estimate to refinish our interior stairs. The stair treads had issues when the house was purchased and got worse as time went on. Poorly finished and unevenly stained, they began peeling. Travis provided a quote to sand and re-stain the treads, explaining that he would match the risers which did not need refinishing. When Thiago arrived to take care of our stairs, we immediately knew we were in good hands. Professional and caring, he took the time to painstakingly redo the problems we had and transformed them into a furniture like finish. We also knew we wanted to keep them pristine and had an extra coat of polyurethane added. Tori and the office staff were also great, providing appointment updates since my phone had issues receiving text messages. Thank you again for the great job!

I also replaced our entire railing, which came out beautiful. The crew ripped up our carpet in upstairs hallway, installed hardwood. The start of work depends on our current job schedule as well as the material options you choose. Some materials may have to be custom-ordered and can take several weeks to be delivered. Yes. Stain matching is one of our specialties. We test and blend finishes to match your existing floors as closely as possible.
Unfortunately, no. Stairs, unlike floors, are a custom job—no two stair jobs are ever alike. The best way to get an estimate on the cost of stair work is to have one of our experts come out and give you an in-person review of your project. We can then present you with the best options for your stairs.
